As the name rightly suggests, we @Aanand Foundation strive to help bloom people’s lives with flowers of happiness and make our community “a Happy Community”.
The women who are involved in keeping Mumbai clean by disposing of all the garbage in Mumbai, however, have never seen Mumbai despite being so close to it. During the two months of November- December 2019, we arranged a tour for some of our garbage collecting friends from Murbad who work at Kalyan Dumping Ground. These people help in our daily routine, but we made them forget the daily routine & enjoy their life as an ordinary citizen.
In the month of August 2019, we arranged a special tour for the strongest women, the Veer Mata and Veer Patni. We always remember the Martyrs, but their wives or mothers are always underestimated. In these two days, we made them forget their status of being a mother or a widow of a martyr and make them enjoy life as an individual. This was really a memorable tour.
Children always love trips. But if the children are special children, their parents are the only people who care for their happiness. In the month of November and December 2019, we arranged a tour for special children from Shishu Kalyan Kendra from Andheri. These children were from the age group of 4 to 35. These innocent kids enjoyed the tour too much. This tour taught us how travel makes a difference, even in the lives of special kids.
