Happiness does not necessarily mean overall finding value or a purpose in life.

Happiness is enjoying the small things in life…The smile on baby’s face after seeing mother’s face after a long time, seeing a butterfly on the window, seeing a child’s face while getting drenched in the rains, seeing neighbour keeping her door open for us, helping a senior person cross the road, seeing drops of rain falling on thirsty earth during famine…all this is nothing but a happiness.

During our work for various social initiatives in different parts of Maharashtra, we realized that there are many souls in the countryside who have never touched Taluka place of the region, nor even seen a train in their life time. All they did was to do the laborious work in their fields, raise their children and take care of their parents. That’s all. They are hardly aware of expressing themselves, giving vent to their feelings of stress and tension and are miles away from spending urban concept of “Me Time”.
